After some sponsors saw doping evidence they dropped Lance Armstrong

The USADA released a dossier connected with doping by the prominent American cyclist Lance Armstrong. According to the report, this sportsperson applied steroids and other related drugs. After publishing some sponsors that donated for Lance Armstrong’s charity organization Livestrong decided to cut their links with this cyclist and his charity organization.
One of companies that decided to discontinue sponsoring the organization which fights against cancer is Nike. This company was working much time with the cyclist. Finally Nike said that it would not have anything longer with the person that was cheating over 10 years.
24 Hour Fitness also refused to collaborate with Lance Armstrong anymore.
Certain other companies also made the decision to stop sponsoring Livestrong.
However, the cyclist tried to do anything in order to prevent negative influence of his athletic reputation on the foundation that helps individuals with cancer to survive. He announced that he would not be the chairman of the organization anymore. However the athlete tried to keep sponsors, he couldn’t do it.
When it comes to the USADA, it announced that Lance Armstrong was found guilty of doping. As a result, he received lifetime ban. Furthermore, he lost all 7 titles obtained at Tour de France.
But the International Cycling Union (ICU) said that the USADA made a wrong decision. However Lance Armstrong stopped fighting against accusations pronounced by the USADA, the ICU said that it would appeal the decision even without involvement of the sportsman.
However Lance Armstrong never tested positive for any banned medicine, it was concluded that he was guilty of doping. It was stated that he used steroids and other forbidden preparations but he utilized some simple as well sophisticated ways in order to prevent positives. Thus, Lance Armstrong was capable to dope and remain undetectable.
Now the athlete pays for his doping. The decision of certain companies to discontinue sponsoring his foundation is a great loss for this man.
