Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, is also the president of the National Olympic Committee. This affirmation was pronounced by Alexander Lukashenko after Nadzeya Ostapchuk was caught applying methenolone. This medication is better known as Primobolan.

Anatoliy Tozik, the Vice-President for Alexander Lukashenko, said that they could establish a sports scientific center which would be sponsored by the state. The center would conduct scientific studies related to mental and pharmacological support for top sportspersons. The Belarusian president agreed to form this center.
